Layering necklaces is a necessary style look, but so often I have been asked, “which pieces do you layer together?” The key is to find pieces that all have an individual look to them and also the same feel, so finding stones that look good next to one another, the same tone of metal and necklaces that have variations in length. Richard Avedon’s photography transformed fashion images, he captured the essence of beauty in his staged moments. He was one of the pioneers of fashion photography and definitely one of the greats. I love vintage images, the way beauty was so refined and yet simple at the same time. Avedon’s photography is one of my greatest inspirations for fall, in dressing and designing.
These watches are very inspiring to me for many reasons. They are covered in gems and diamonds rich in vibrant colors, they have incredibly detailed time telling capabilities and are so unique and graceful in their designs they are made for royalty! Wearing watches has become something that is very rare these days with everyone carrying their phone for time, but imagine the beauty of wearing one of these exquisite pieces.
Nina Ricci designer Olivier Theyskens took shoe design to a whole new level, his shoes are so avant garde they look so difficult to walk in and even stand in, yet they are so abstract and surreal that I am compelled to find them and get a closer look. Maybe they are only for the runway, but either way they are incredible or an amazing expression of sculpture in a shoe.
These are by far the best shoe shape, texture and color I have seen. Loeffler Randall uses high quality materials and creates shoes that will last, these shapes for Fall are wearable and on trend without over doing the gladiator style.
